This is a 5-axis CNC machine that runs normal g-code. It has been modified to use a Pharos (tool 125) focused by a microscope objective instead of a machining spindle. It can machine most materials with a resolution of approximately 10 micrometers.

The control computer runs an Autodesk Inventor CAD/CAM installation. Ideally you prepare your cad drawing in this environment, and toolpaths are generated at the processing station (Please remember to disable the spindle!)
