This is a time-resolved ARPES system where a high-power fs-laser from Amplitude systems drives a HHG (high harmonic generation) source to generate XUV-light. This light is directed towards a cryogenic sample mount (<10K) that is placed inside an UHV vacuum chamber. The sample mount is located next to a TOF electron imaging system for high resolved imaging of the sample (THEMIS).

In connection to the sample mount and analysis station, the setup also hosts a sample preparation chamber with variuos sputtering options. The chamber is equipped with a load-lock system and transfer rods that allows quick transfer from the outside to the cryogenic UHV-environment.

Auxillary equipment:
Tangor laser, Amplitude Systemes, 30W, 400fs, 343nm for driving the HHG-source.
Tangerine laser, Amplitude Systemes, 50W 300fs, 1030nm, 515nm, 343nm, 0.2-2MHz rep rate.
